Chevrolet Cruze Coming Soon

The Cruze is Chevrolet's new economy sedan being released this fall. The Cruze was released in 2009 in Europe and Asia, where its been popular. The new line is replacing the Cobalt and the Cruze will be priced about $1000 less than a similarly equipped Cobalt.

The Cruze will feature a 1.4L, 4-cylinder turbo engine capable of a 500 mile range. To improve its fuel economy, which is around 40 miles per gallon, Chevrolet has used ultra-low rolling resistance tires, light weight wheels, and aero shutters that close above 35 mph (making the car more aero dynamic).

The popularity of the Cruze in other countries has come from its combination of economy and premium features. All models feature a six speaker stereo with MP3 playback and an auxiliary jack for media players. Also available are 16-, 17- and 18-inch wheels, StabiliTrak with rollover sensing, traction control, anti-lock brakes, and climate control. Now that the last Cobalt has rolled off the line, we are looking forward to the release of the Chevrolet Cruze this fall. Below is a video from Chevrolet describing the safety features.
